    It has to be a metaphor..
    if you had a lover who love you less than your friend, I think it either "you found a wrong lover" or "you didn't aware that your friend wanna be your lover"... hahaha.. :P

    i think,
    "a lover" someone who always accept you
    even we are in the high mood or not
    even we are doing some goodness or bad one
    they still there for us ^^
